"You always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me."

(Jn 12:8)

We don't have to look too far to find the poor--they are everywhere, we are every where--for everyone of us is poor--whether spiritually, mentally, physically or financially. We are no better than the other.

Jesus is our treasure but let's not store Him up and not share Him with others. Where your treasure is, there also will your heart be. (Mt 6:21) We are to share our wealth, our treasure, our graces, our gifts with one another.

Remember, our mission is to pray for priests and make disciples for Jesus. " Priests are a living and transparent image of Christ. When we see a priest, think of our Lord Jesus Christ." (St John Vianney, Patron Saint of Priests) Think of our Lord's love for the poor. Think of our poor Lord on the Cross.

Today perform a corporal or spiritual work of mercy.
