TUESDAY OF THE TWENTY-FIFTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke 8:19-21
The mother of Jesus and his brothers came to him but were unable to join him because of the crowd. He was told, "Your mother and your brothers are standing outside and they wish to see you." He said to them in reply, "My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and act on it."
REFLECTION: "My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and act on it."
How wonderful are Jesus' words for us.
To be part of His family, we just need to want to and to act on His teachings.
We have been invited to pray for priests—for their perseverance, their faithfulness, their fidelity to the Church...
In the PAPA Handbook, "we", "us", are all priests, deacons, religious, the faithful Catholic, Christians, non-Christian friends and souls of our departed relatives – all those who are the members of PAPA.
This is how Jesus has called us to be part of His family. To act like His Mother, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles did.
Thank you for saying "Yes" to Jesus in this important mission to support His priesthood.
