Reading II Phil 1:4-6, 8-11
Brothers and sisters: I pray always with joy in my every prayer for all of you, because of your partnership for the gospel from the first day until now. I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. And this is my prayer: that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value, so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.
REFLECTION
āAnd this is my prayer that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value, so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christā.
PAPA just finished a seminar on St Joseph ending the year of St Joseph with 25 people consecrating themselves to St Joseph.
The protector of the Lord, who was born to die on the Cross, was given the awesome task and privilege of protecting the Savior of the World and His Mother- Queen of all mankind.
St Paul prayed for the Philippians with joy: in our seminar we learned that, āprayer gets us in touch with the mind and spirit of another personā. (Novena to St Joseph, Father Michael J Truongluan)
St Joseph loved Mary and through dreams he was able to grow in his love and knowledge of Godās will for Mary, Baby Jesus and himself.
Thank you, Father, for the many seeds sown these past few days. Looking forward to see where these seeds take root.
God bless you.
