Monday of the Nineteenth Week in Ordinary Time Scripture Reading

Responsorial Psalm PSALMS 148:1-2, 11-12, 13, 14

Response: Heaven and earth are filled with your glory.

Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights. Praise him, all you his angels; praise him, all you his hosts. Let the kings of the earth and all peoples, the princes and all the judges of the earth; Young men too, and maidens, old men and boys alike. Praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; His majesty is above earth and heaven. And he has lifted high the horn of his people; Be this his praise from all his faithful ones, from the children of Israel, the people close to him. Alleluia.

Reflection

During the “Holy, Holy, Holy” part at Holy Mass, imagine the gates of Heaven and Earth open as we sing together with angels, saints, past kings and queens and our beloved relatives. We sing together! Together, we transcend time and space, reunite and share the same experience of singing praise.

Have you given praise for the blessings you have received yet?

Let us pray the “Glory Be to the Father” prayer.
