PAPA Celebrates Their First MTC- Mass, Testimony/Teaching, Consecration

This past Friday, February 15th we celebrated our first PAPA MTC. The evening began with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Father Vincent Dulock, CSB (a Basilian priest) in the home of Vince and Naomi Mannino.

The purpose of MTC is for PAPA members to gather in prayer and encourage each other to give testimony about PAPA to others. Just like the domestic Church did during early Christianity, members gathered in homes to celebrate Mass and give their testimonies of witness and to encourage one another to spread the Good News about Jesus.

After the Mass we prayed our PAPA Prayer for Priests and shared with those present The Face of Christ booklet, which is the booklet created from our own members after last year’s retreat. This booklet expresses our reasons for praying for priests. We spent time and reflected on these questions…

What does testimony mean to you?

What is a teaching?

We shared our thoughts and recorded them in our notebooks. It was a special time to listen to the one another.

The evening concluded with praying The Consecration Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and enjoyed some delicious treats. We also were happy to welcome Father Vincent Dulock, CSB to our PAPA family.

We will be notifying all PAPA members of our next MTC in the near future. I hope that we can see more of our members come and enjoy this gathering. God bless you all!
