DAY 3 DECEMBER 15, 2020 WINNSBORO AND BISHOP STRICKLAND

After morning Prayers and Mass, we headed to Winnsboro, Texas for lunch and a tour of the St. Alphonsus Retreat Center.

Fr. Dominic Nguyen was very kind and gracious and he showed us the facilities of the Retreat Center. We had lunch with Fr. Francis, the seminarians and future deacons (to be ordained December 31, 2020).

Guess what they served for lunch? - just plain “ole lasagna” - which was very

delicious!😀😀

After lunch we headed to Tyler,Texas to meet with Bishop Strickland who joined us in consecrating to the Unborn Baby Jesus.

Then off to the beautiful Shrine of the Immaculate Conception where we prayed and sang the Divine Mercy Chaplet in front of the picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

We had dinner on the way home at a great Mexican Restaurant after a beautiful day!!!
