Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands,
and bring your hand and put it into my side,
and do not be unbelieving, but believe."
REFLECTION
In our morning prayer we consecrate the day to God. We are focused on God and the true meaning of our life. We acknowledge who God is and made aware that we are His children.
We can converse with Him throughout the day and spend time with Him. After all He knows all our needs, our weaknesses and we in turn need to know that there is no need for long, continuous prayers but a relationship of love, of simplicity.
The gentle reproach to a doubting Thomas is another look at God. Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe."
Today is a new day, a day to begin all over. Pray for ourselves and all who have not experienced God by serving them through Him in our kindness, love and attention.
