The love Jesus has for us is unique. We are asked to love each other His way.
Can we give as Jesus did? He showed us how.
Can we lose ourselves in this love for another? Mary showed us how.
Are we cheerful and creative when we love? Is it God's vision? Is it what God wants us to do? Will we regret our actions when we find ourselves in the presence of God?
Have we pursued our own selfish plans for our laudits or personal glory?
Love conjures up many feelings, many memories and hopefully many good deeds. Deeds not just sweet words. Feed the homeless, pray for the sick, bury the dead are all practical deeds of service to others. Are we rushing around doing things to be seen or are we doing works for the right reason-for God?
Some of what we are asked to do are "puny" compared to what others are asked to do. It is the love we have in our heart and our answer to God that makes our deeds big and significant. What we do for someone may be "big" for them but not much effort on our part.
Every action done for God is a prayer. And every prayer brings us fruits that support our deeds. Mary served God by serving her cousin Elizabeth, with joy.
