A reading of the holy Gospel according to MT 9:27-31

As Jesus passed by, two blind men followed him, crying out, “Son of David, have pity on us!” When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I can do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they said to him. Then he touched their eyes and said, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.” And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” But they went out and spread word of him through all that land.

REFLECTION

Do you believe that I can do this?

A friend of mine sent me this message early one morning.

"Look for the grace of God each day

instead of what God can do for you.

When grace covers you,

God's power over your life

will be inevitable."

Jesus asked the blind men, "Do you believe that I can do this?" And their faith set them free.

We all need faith and need more of it. We should always ask God for more grace and more faith, expecting nothing but goodness from Him.

When Oliver Twist asked, "Please, sir, I want more", he was met with anger, capriciousness, punishment and fear. Our Lord will not turn you away nor punish you. He will give you all the graces needed for your salvation. He wants you with Him. He loves you that much!

Just ask for more graces, blessings and faith--let Him know what you want and fix your eyes on God. If it is in His Divine Will for you, sit back and wait for all the blessings He will give you. If you don't ask for them nor accept them, He will give them to those who seek them.

God loves us and He wants to say to you, "Let it be done for you, according to your faith".

God Bless You
