I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back again and take you to myself,
so that where I am you also may be.
REFLECTION
We all like to receive gifts--some we wait for in expectation such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and special holidays. However, the best are the undeserved gifts, the unexpected surprise. The Lord died for each and everyone of us. We realize the vastness of His gift of Redemption to us-a gift undeserved.
Our ultimate destination is heaven. Jesus has gone to prepare our place-- not as a guest but as His brother/sister, adopted children of Our Father. He is the way, the truth and the life. He is the best gift we could ever receive. It is the gift that keeps on giving as long as we care for it.
After death, we look forward to be greeted by Love itself. Share your love with others so that they, too, will dwell in the house of the Father.
