Good News Flash #7!

Did you know we have daily Scripture Reflections on our website?

Those who read these reflections have the opportunity to write comments and sometimes we have priests who come on and give a teaching on the Scripture. It is amazing!

Here is a teaching from Father Michael J. for the Reflection on Monday of the Fourth Week of Easter, May 12, 2025. (Click this link for context.)

Salve Alaina:

God bless you.

Thanks for your insightful reflection.

The Lord leaves an open invitation to whomever wants to enter into life. This includes the thieves and robbers, the scribes and Pharisees, the prostitutes and tax collectors. In a word, all sinners.

Yet life has a gate and a gate-keeper. Jesus is both the gate and the gate-keeper. In order to enter life, we need to open the lock to the gate. The problem is that the lock is buried inside each person's heart and it's voice-activated. Only one person could unlock it with His voice and He is that gate-keeper. Also the code to open the lock to the gate is your own name. Once your heart hears him calling your name and you respond to him, He would let you in.

Has anyone heard the Lord calling your name lately? He calls your name all the time. If you don't hear it, it's either your heart is deaf, dumb or dead! In that case, call to Him for help.

He is calling you now. Do you hear it?
