JESUS IS OUR KING APRIL 18, 2025

“...You belong to this world, but I do not belong to this world.  That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.” (John 8: 23-24)

It’s black and white. Jesus predicts the trajectory of how the religious leaders will die (and anyone else): either in sin or not in sin; rejection of Jesus in our dying breath is the ultimate self-condemning sin. However, we too, as Christians cannot forget that we do not belong to this world. Indeed, we rely on the practical use of money, food, drink, shelter, clothing, etc. in this life but we live continually "straining forward to what lies ahead" (Phil. 3:13) - our heavenly home. Jesus is our King; our mansion is in His Kingdom!
