Who is this?
Jesus is the new Passover Lamb who is to suffer, be a sacrifice, shed His blood, and be the Flesh we now eat. Holy Week begins today. May we follow Jesus in every way. Patience, silence and love can meet us in our lowliness, sinfulness and weaknesses. Suffer well with Christ.
How are we going to strife to carry the Cross since Our Savior is going to do that? This week suffer well with Jesus with one heart. See Jesus in those people we meet and desire what He desires. Be patient, humble, obedient, courageous and forgiving. Be especially compassionate to those who are suffering.
Jesus rides the donkey with determination. He knows the will of the Father and with one heart with His Father, He does all that His Father allows. Love and life will walk with us amidst hatred and violence.
As we prepare this Holy Week for Easter, make a holy hour, go to confession, give alms, fast and pray for the graces Christ is going to give us. Accept our sufferings and make up what is lacking for the sake of His Body, the Holy Catholic Church.
