The Pharisees went out and took counsel against Jesus to put him to death. When Jesus realized this, he withdrew from that place. Many people followed him, and he cured them all, but he warned them not to make him known. This was to fulfill what had been spoken through Isaiah the prophet:
Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom I delight; I shall place my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles. He will not contend or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory. And in his name the Gentiles will hope.Â

Jesus is not a conquering king but came with gentleness, sweetness, meekness and mercy to heal the sick and serve mankind. He saw the miseries, sufferings and illnesses that mankind endured. While the Pharisees were plotting His death, Jesus meek and humble, withdrew from them and continued working among the people, giving all the care, and strength needed. It was not His time.
He is patient and merciful. The suffering servant is tender with everyone and we are to not seek revenge but to learn from Jesus how to serve one another. Be aware, though, that as good and kind Jesus is to us, there will be justice when our time here on earth is up.
He never writes us off. We are to expect challenges, and at times trouble with others; there will be ingratitude, difficulties, hatred, oppression, back stabbing, but we are to become a true neighbor to those who need us and never give up praying for our enemies and those who can be difficult to deal with.
God's graces always abound. Pray to have an extra double dose of His graces.
