When the Jews saw the crowds they were filled with jealousy and with violent abuse contradicted what the disciples said. Why were they jealous of the disciples? Were they angry that they could not speak as eloquent, did they suspect them of being false prophets or blind guides? Or were they worried of becoming irrelevant?
With faith and trust the disciples shook the dust from their feet in protest against them.....The disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit. And they moved on....
Jesus Christ is telling us to believe in Him. The Father who dwells in Him is doing His works. Our work for Him will do more as the Holy Spirit dwells in us.
Will we be winners or losers? Obey the Word of God and follow in His footsteps or losers being jealous and foolish?
