On October 16, 2020, we celebrate the feast day of St Gerard Majella. He is the Patron Saint of Childbirth and pregnant women.
The Novena begins on October 8, 2020. His ambition was to be like Jesus Christ in his sufferings and humiliations. He entered the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer in 1749. He was known as the Father of the Poor. He was favored with ecstasies, prophecy, discernment of spirits and penetration of hearts, bilocation and an unlimited power over nature, sickness and the devils.
Saint Gerard was a humble and loved saint.
