Gospel

"he will surely not lose his reward."

REFLECTION

I am a softie for romance movies. No, not the immoral movies, not the "let me see how I can get what I want movie" but one with true love. One where the lover sacrifices all for the other.

In the Book of Canticles, "Have you seen Him who my soul loveth (Canticle 3:3), we are drawn to the exquisite lyrics of love. We transcend to the love of Jesus searching for His beloved, to searching and finding Jesus who is always found in our Masses, Blessed Sacrament and one another. We unite with Him in Holy Communion. It is during this time we realize He loves us and how much He has done to win our love.

May we grow in grace with love and always endear ourselves to Him. What do lovers say when they meet? How do they behave? They sacrifice themselves and all their possessions for the person they love. "He will surely not lose his reward."

God Bless You.
