Mrs Virginia B (85 years of age) made a facetime call. By the time I answered, the connection was lost. I was so excited that a former patient was calling me. I found a quiet area and called her back. I had taken care of her and her father. She had the cutest personality, she always found humor in the situation and she always reminded me how much her father liked me.
After a fifteen minute talk she finally "fessed up" that she called me by mistake. She had touched the screen by mistake. The rest of the visit was mixed in with more laughter and fond memories when she was under my care.
How did our friendship begin? I am unsure when the phone number exchange began but we both knew that we liked each others company, were both catholics and loved the Lord. Always cheerful inspite of her multiple illnesses, she committed herself to God and to serve Him in her day to day dealings.
Look for a worthy person as a friend. You will always be reminded how much God loves you by the way they treat you. And you in turn will be so happy when they call you, even if it was "finger dialing".
