trembling with fear, he fell down before Paul and Silas.
Then he brought them out and said,
"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus
and you and your household will be saved."
REFLECTION
When things seem to be at their worst. And when we accept it without complaining but instead let go of our own will and follow God's Will, we receive abundant rewards.
Paul and Silas were beaten and imprisoned for spreading the Gospel. They were praising God when an earthquake broke open the prison. Instead of escaping they remained and waited. Because they were obedient to God's Will and stayed, they were able to save the physical life and spiritual life of the prison guard and his whole family.
This month we pray that all priests are obedient to the Will of God. Let us continue to pray our PAPA Prayer for Priests, especially for all priests to be obedient to the Catholic Church's tradition and teachings.
