FRIDAY WITHIN THE OCTAVE OF EASTER APRIL 14, 2023

Gospel

"This was now the third time Jesus was revealed to his disciples

after being raised from the dead."

REFLECTION

As we anticipate the Holy Spirit for Pentecost, we can be assured that He can change darkness to light, fear into joy, disbelief to belief, and hardened hearts to love filled mercy.

Everything written in scripture is for us to read, assimilate, think, assess, evaluate and conclude. The Old Testament can be scary. The New Testament brings the same God into our hearts. As Jesus continues to reveal Himself, every facet of His Easter brings me into a reality that what is written and preached is truly alive in this world.

God is not stingy with His graces. We have to believe and ask.

So if you have a prodigal child, health issues, family woes, work and home problems bring your prayers to the King, the Savior. He defeated death once and for all. So why do we hesitate, shrug our shoulders and say to the Lord, "Why?" Instead praise and thank the Lord for the cross He has given you, because we, too, can walk with Christ, not complaining or demanding. We will see the Lord reveal Himself to us. Gradually, we go up the path of new insight, stronger faith, new trust and new understanding.

God loves us. Understand that He wants to abide in each and every one of us. Though life is hard, full of hardships, take a humble and positive approach: delight in the Lord and His Mother. You are not forgotten but with love and mercy new encounters can be found in our journey with Him.

Enrich me, Jesus, to be perfect so as to merit and gain eternal life.

Alleluia, Alleluia

This is the day the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it.

Alleluia, Alleluia

God Bless You
