Did you know we have daily Scripture Reflections on our website?
Those who read these reflections have the opportunity to write comments and sometimes we have priests who come on and give a teaching on the Scripture. It is amazing!
Here is a teaching from Father Michael J. for the Reflection from the Fourth Sunday in Lent, March 30, 2025. (Click on the link for context.)
Salve Maria:
God bless you for sharing your perceptive reflection.
Mistakes are the wrongs we do without conscious intention: we don't like them; once becoming conscious of them we apologize immediately.
Sins are the wrongs we do with conscious intention: we love them, that is why we keep repeating the same sins over and over again. When we get caught committing sins by ourselves or others, we deny them or make excuses or blame others.
Sins and mistakes are two unavoidable realities in our life. They are trash.
Clean up and we are free.
Thanks again, Maria.
