Reading 1 1 Thes 3:7-13

We have been reassured about you, brothers and sisters, in our every distress and affliction, through your faith. For we now live, if you stand firm in the Lord. What thanksgiving, then, can we render to God for you, for all the joy we feel on your account before our God? Night and day we pray beyond measure to see you in person and to remedy the deficiencies of your faith. Now may God himself, our Father, and our Lord Jesus direct our way to you, and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we have for you, so as to strengthen your hearts, to be blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his holy ones. Amen.

Reflection: Before my mother died, the Lord gifted me with time to spend with her. We were able to spend a whole month together. During that time, we would sit down at night and talk. Something that really stands out in my mind is that one night, she told me as she gazed off in the distance, that she didn't realize how much Jesus loved her. It was an amazing statement, because she had a really hard life.

After reading this passage from 1 Thessalonians, it made me think, that Jesus even has all the Saints praying for us. Can you imagine the love and prayers that are said on our behalf. Our life with Christ can only be nurtured if we allow it, and the first step is prayer on our part. Take a look at all the prayers and Novenas that are on the PAPAMio website. There are many there that can help us with our journey to realize the love that Christ has for us. God bless.
