On May 1st, Communist Regimes parade their weapons of destruction through the streets of major cities held captive under Marxist oppression. This is called May Day and International Workers Day.
Marxists ideology proclaims that a worker's paradise can be achieved through a counterfeit ideology which promises that a new man and a new society could come about without the need for a Savior. For this reason, the the Catholic Church emphasizes the Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker.

This Feast was initiated in 1955 by Pope Pius XII.
Pope Pius wanted to elevate the dignity of work beyond the secular ideas of it.
By connecting this celebration to St. Joseph, who has traditionally been an example for and patron of workers, Pope Pius drew attention to the fact that work is not simply about the material world; there is a spiritual dimension to it.
This feast also exposes false ideologies and proclaims that the dignity of all human work is rooted in the dignity of the worker, who is created in the Image of God.
