This incident happened in 2004 when I was living in London.
I was coming from work early in the morning at 2:00 AM.
Usually, I take two buses before getting off at Stonebridge. I got off the second bus and was walking to my apartment; there is a small Catholic church along the way near my apartment. Half way near the church, I noticed a man standing holding a knife in his hand waiting for me. The street was quiet, and no one was around.
I got frightened and I started shouting out prayers in my native tongue crying to God to intervene because that man was out to hurt me.
I was still saying my prayers and coming closer to where he was waiting, when suddenly a huge, tall man appeared between me and the man. The man that appeared started questioning the one holding the knife “what are you doing here at this time of the day, get away from here!".
The man ran away immediately and I ran into my apartment panicking. The man that intervened had a loud voice that echoed. His voice was unusually loud, even scaring me. I never saw him again.
God is always faithful to His words, "He promised to save those who love Him and protect those who acknowledge Him as Lord". (Psalm 91:14).
I most humbly adore you Lord Jesus, I acknowledge you Lord Jesus Christ as my master, my creator and supreme protector of my eternal destiny.
