Each morning, we started the day going to the Monastary for Morning Prayer and Mass!
How special is that?!
Monday morning , after Mass, we met in a classroom in the Monastary where Fr. Michael began his teachings.
He began with the BJ Prayer - breathing in Jesus -
JEEEE-SUS! He had taught us this beautiful prayer before but this day was
especially powerful to me. I had my eyes fixed on a large picture of Jesus in the room.
I felt His presence and His love - which brought me to tears!! JEEEEE- SUS.
We then went to the AirBnB to have breakfast.
It was time to get started on our Pilgrimage. First, we visited the Discalced Carmelites.
After visiting with the Carmelite Center, we picked up Father Michael at the Monastery and headed to Our Lady Guadalupe Cathedral in Dallas. There was a Divine Mercy Chapel and we prayed and sang at 3:00 the Divine Mercy Chaplet with Father Michael.
We then headed to the AirBnB for dinner - Lasagna, Salad, Garlic Bread. Maybe you may have heard about my “special” Lasagna! If you would like the recipe, I’d be glad to give it to you. It is called “upside down twice baked Lasagna”. Once in the pan and again on the rack in the oven!
It takes a lot of talent to do it just right
