FEAST OF SAINT ANDREW, APOSTLE, NOVEMBER 30, 2022

A Reading from St. Paul to Rom 10:9-18

Brothers and sisters: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. The Scripture says, No one who believes in him will be put to shame. There is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all, enriching all who call upon him. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

But how can they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? And how can people preach unless they are sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news! But not everyone has heeded the good news; for Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed what was heard from us? Thus faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. But I ask, did they not hear? Certainly they did; for

Their voice has gone forth to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.

REFLECTION

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

But how can they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? And how can people preach unless they are sent?

Our PAPA Mission is to “Go and make disciples of all nations; behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18, 20).

But how?

We are all in different stations and states in life. Many of us are very busy with work and family. And many of us have moved on to the hybrid or the remote work/school environment.

So, how can we reach others when we find ourselves away from many?

First, talking to our immediate family. Keep in contact always with our loved ones, so they never feel alone. Tell them the truth about what the Church teaches. Call, text, share with them good articles and information we might find in the web.

We could also use social media to share with our contacts our PAPA Prayer for Priests, Activities, daily scripture reflections, Face ZBS teachings from our YouTube channel, etc.

Carry always spare PAPA Prayer for Priest cards, Top Secret, calling cards or other booklets, and give them away to kindred spirits you might meet at Church, the bank, grocery store, airplane, etc. You never know when you might get to know one. If you don't have spare ones, just ask anybody in the PAPA Kitchen, or contact us via this form.

Pray on which way you can spread the joy of praying for priests, or ask us how to join us in praying for them. We need priests to be in love with Jesus and His Church. We need you to pray for them to be saints.

God bless y'all!
