Events in life, whether at a personal level; such as, serious illness or death of a dear one; or at a social level; such as, economy or wars, do cause us worry and pain.
As with the Apostles, the storm distracts us and we lose awareness that Jesus is right next to us! He's in the boat!!!!
"Why are you terrified?
Do you not yet have faith?" (Mark 4:40)
Lord Jesus, help me to practice awareness that you are present in every situation.
