There are many quotes that describe the Sacred Scriptures also known as the Bible.
These descriptions tell us about the power that lies in the Word of God. Here are some examples: "The Seed is the word of God...(Luke 8:13); The Word of God is a two-edged sword...(Hebrews 4:12)"; "the Word is a lamp for my feet..(Psalm 119:105)"; "The Word of God is alive and active. (Hebrews 4:12)"; "...the Word of our God endures forever. (Isaiah 40:8)".
The most important value of the Word of God is that reading, listening, and studying it brings you into a personal relationship with the Word, Himself, Jesus Christ.
How do you get to know someone? You make contact with them by talking to them and listening to them, you have a conversation with them. Eventually, you may even share intimate feelings and thoughts and be in communion with them.
