Gospel

"seen a vision of angels who announced that he was alive"

REFLECTION

"Come, then, all you nations of men, receive forgiveness for the sins that defile you. I am your forgiveness. I am the Passover that brings salvation. I am the lamb who was immolated for you. I am your ransom, your life, your resurrection, your light, I am your salvation and your king. I will bring you to the heights of heaven. With my own right hand I will raise you up, and I will show you the eternal Father." (Homily From an Easter homily by Melito of Sardis, bishop)

Jesus takes pity and sees the suffering on all sides: our weaknesses and failures.

Jesus, please enter my heart. With no asperities, do correct me, straighten me, teach me and rescue me. You know that by myself, I fail, fall into temptation and sin. Be here to grab me. Show me to be upright: teach me in my ignorance. Educe my soul to love and obey you.

Jesus, the intermediary, sits at the right hand of the Father reconciling us to His Father. Let your Divine Mercy take over, Jesus.

Rejoice, O hearts that seek the Lord.

(Psalm 105)

God Bless you
